Brick Paver Backsplash Installation - It's Time!
I've been anticipating our brick paver backsplash project forever and I'm excited that the day has finally arrived that I'll get to see this idea come to fruition! Today someone is coming to do the install - but just the installation of the bricks. I'll be in charge of grouting and then painting them for just the right "old painted brick" look. I picked up the pavers at Lowes today and didn't notice the following on the box until I got home...Pretty nifty! I'll post photos as soon as I can!

LOVE that! I love to see stone or brick in the house where you wouldn't normally see it. Can't wait for the 'after' shots! :)

Please delete my site- just found out today that we will be moving in about 4 weeks - not enough time to devote enough of my time to continue with blogging.
Thank you,
Lori
Sounds like a fun project. Can't wait to see the finished pictures.
Happy May Day!

I love the finish you did on your cabinets. I've read through the post, but did not notice if you detailed the steps you took. Could you send me an email with the steps. I'm assuming sand, prime, but then what gloss of paint and how did you distress them. I think they are lovely. I had a bedroom suite that color when I was a little girl. I'd like to do something similar in a cream color. Thank you for all your inspiration.
I look forward to seeing the finished project!
Very unique and cottage-y.
Kimberly :)
These are what I used on my fireplace redo. I love them and they are so easy to use.
Can't wait to see the finished project.
