Day 4: Kitchen Cabinet Makeover Challenge

As I mentioned yesterday, much of my day today was spent at the girls' school, and then this evening I was there again for their annual art show...Sooo, I didn't get tons of work done today. I did get another coat on the shelves and doors though.

I'm going to need to pick up another gallon of red paint. I'm going through it fast!

do you have trouble matching colors when picking up an "extra" can? They always say to mix cans for a consistent color but it's tough when you have no idea how much paint you'll use.

Well, I never imagined we'd use a whole gallon of paint for these cabinets, so I was a little concerned when I saw I was going to have to pick up more. BUT, because I'm working on the cabinets coat by coat (as opposed to completely finishing one door and then moving on the the next...), the final coats for everything will all come from the new can, so I don't think it will make a difference.

I did do all of the first cabinet from the first can, but hopefully because it's not right up against the other cabinets, any slight variation in the color won't matter.
