Better Quality (I think) Photos of Painted Living Room

Get Your Own! | View Slideshow

This entry is an addendum to the entry below. It was much sunnier today so I took a few more snapshots of the new living room wall color. I hope the color comes out a little better. I turned the lamp off in the last photo hoping that it would help.

Hey Kim! Your living room looks fantastic! I am already partial to the warm rich yellow family hehe, and your living room turned out soooo pretty! It’s so cheery! Your progress is coming along so well!

I love yellow but since I was going w/ ocean colors in the new place, it just didnt work out! No yellows in the oceans I've visited...LOL!

But the color is beatiful on your walls and does indeed make me want to dip a shrimp in there! Very aptly named.

The colors in my house read as follows: Deep Peacock, Milan Turquoise, Golden Amber, Sand Pebbles, Wave Blue, Sequoia, Pale Ginkgo,White Wheat, and Silk Blue. All by Porter Paints. So far they have all been very true to the swatch...Whew!

Hi Kim!
I Love your site! It's good to see some other do-it-yourselfers out there! Your cabinets are awesome! By the way, what yellow did you go with for your living room?

Thanks! The color is called "Clarifed Butter" by American Tradition. The chip number is 3001-6B. I chose an eggshell finish:)
