Welcome "Cottages and Bungalows" Readers!
I just wanted to take a moment to send a warm welcome to guests who made their way here via the "Renovation Blogs" article in the new Cottages & Bungalows magazine. I didn't realize that my blog was one of several being featured until I discovered the magazine for the first time at Lowes a couple of months ago. A very happy surprise for me, to be sure!
So 'Welcome' and thanks so much for stopping in! Oh, and let me know what you think of the new magazine!

oh thanks ...love magazines... will be on the lookout for this one !
Congrats KIM! Ummm coming from a old 1912 house I understand the constant state of fixing that you are dealing with, that was me until just a year ago when we moved to a boring newly built cabin in the country, Oh how I miss my old house in the city and all those unfinished projects:( and yes I will have to get that mag!
Really? You know, when we were first looking for a house, I wanted and *old* house like the one you had to fix up. Hubs said no, so we settled on this almost 30 year old house that needed cosmetic work. Man, I never dreamed we'd have so much going on...should've just stuck with one project at a time, lol. Right about now, I'd love to have your new crisp clean cabin in the country! Hehe, the grass is always greener on the other side, isn't it?
THanks, Diana and One Blue Egg for visiting!
Wow how neat is that! :)
I saw that Kim and I was amazed. Good for you! Your beams are looking lovely. I'd love to have some in my house too.
What a wonderful deal, for your little blog to be recognized like that...congratulations! I love looking at your blog...I get lots of good ideas.
I have this magazine and just love it! This is how I found you!
Hey, thanks you all! I was quite surprised! Thank you for dropping in! We've all been / still are sick here... UGH! I hope to be posting again soon...
This must be a coincidence...one of Cottages and Bungalows Magazine's contributing writers just contacted me via snail mail and asked if I was interested in having my bathroom featured in his article. (He remembered my house from a historic home tour in 2005) I have a 1913 craftsman bungalow with many original fixtures intact. Keep a look out for a picture of my bathroom in an upcoming issue....it has yellow walls with green curtains and a black claw foot tub and white and black tiled floor. I am so excited! BTW...love your blog page. It is awesome...I will be returning soon.
SOOOO AWESOME!!!
:-)
