Do you love cottage style? I would love to know about your projects, photos, and cottage finds! A lot of visitors come to this "Cottage Life" blog to get ideas and while I hope that I'm providing a few, I know that it would be wonderful to have a special page to post ideas and photos from other cottage style enthusiasts. Before and after photos, trash to treasure projects, tips, resources...whatever you think might benefit other readers. Just email me at twilightmama@hotmail.com and I'll post your entry on a special Cottage Project Submissions from Readers page:) I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Kim, you are so web savvy! Do you have a degree or or a job in computers or graphic design or anything? I'm continually impressed by the multi-levels of your site.
Hey Laurie! That's so nice of you to say:) I was actually a web designer for a couple of years - had my own business...but it just wasn't quite as fun when it was work, lol. Also, I found that it was a lot of work just to keep up with and learn the ever changing web standards - and with the house and kids, I just didn't have the time and energy to keep up. I was more interested in the design aspect and absolutely hated the technical part, lol. If you're interested, here's a link to some of the sites I did when I had my business. The first site listed was my old business site...

Thanks again, Laurie!!!
Seriously impressive. It all makes sense now. I looked at your sites, and they're all well designed. I undestand why you didn't enjoy it as work...everyone is always encouraging me to go into interior design (please note that I'm currently working on my second Master's which ISN'T interior design...and I'm thinking - at least hoping - I'm done with school after this). Anyway, I could never do interior design as a job, because I just know people would piss me off and it would take all the fun out of decorating and interiors...and since it's a source of complete joy and something I spend all my free time doing, I just don't know what I'd do if the fun were taken out of it. ;) Well, I look forward to seeing how your website develops in the future. You seriously have the best houseblogs (IMHO) based on the combination of design and writing style.
Great idea Kim. :) Looking forward to reading the submissions!
