Here's Linkin' to You, Kid

I've noticed that a few fellow house bloggers link back to my site and I would first like to say Thank You! If it weren't for you and HouseBlogs.net, my site would be read by, oh, four people. I would like to repay the favor by linking back to you. I think I've found all of you already (thanks again, guys!) but can you please let me know if I've missed you so that I can add you to my link list? Thanks bunches!

Our area got blasted by an eighth of an inch "dusting" last night. The schools, of course, are closed today. The girls are enjoying romping outside, making shallow snow angels on the deck and playing snowball "fetch" with Penelope:)

I love your peech-ters. Great to see you have a blog. I'll be frequenting it often as I'm preparing my own house for habitation in the next couple of weeks.

It's great to see you, girlie! I'm so excited for you - I forgot to ask you the last time I saw you about how your house was coming along:) Thanks for stopping in!

Hi Kim,

I linked to your site from cottageliving.com. I was looking at your pictures when I saw the post about a "local brother" who died and how the "friends" were upset. Hhhmmmm, I thought. Could she be my sister? I investigated further and sure enough, you are!

I am in California, just outside San Francisco and I'm in the Rodeo congregation. Where do you live? I love cottage style (mostly an old-world shabby french look) and was just so thrilled to meet a fellow sister online! Just wanted to say hi and I'm sorry to hear about the brother. My email address is kari@freskos.com if you want to email me.

Agape,
Kari

Well, hello sister! How neat to find you this way! We already have a lot in common:) I live in Middle Tennessee, btw...we go to the Smyrna East congregation. I've been out to San Francisco once- what a neat city!

I think the French Shabby look is very sweet. Even though it's not the style I'm using in my own home, I'm always tempted to buy things that are that style because it's just so pretty and romantic:)

Thanks for visiting my journal, Kari, and I hope to stay in touch with you!

Hehe, Bev, if you only knew how pathetic our snows are, lol... The kids love it, but they don't know any different:)

Amanda, you were my missing link! Thanks for letting me know:) I will add you right quick like. Aw, glad you like the nonhouse stuff, too. Sometimes it's nice to talk and read about other things out side our houses, eh?!.

Boy, in NH we have to have a lot more snow than that before they cancel school!!

Lol, isn't it a joke, Chris? It doesn't take much snow *at all* to have schools closed here. I think it's because generally, people here (moi included) don't know how to drive when the roads are slippery.
