Sam Davis Home photos (kinda)

A couple of weeks ago, Amanda, a photographer friend of mine, and I set out to go take some photos at the old Sam Davis place. The slave quarters were of interest to me more so than the Sam Davis house (not shown in the photos below), so I thought I'd share a few photos that I took. I'm not sure what the big large log home was, but it intrigued me. I love the old door with the withered vines growing up around it. The little girl is my daughter, Zoe. There is something a little eerie about some of the photos...a little girl roaming freely and carelessly on the same land where enslaved children may have once lived.
