Living in a building site/wreck myself I KNOW how much work it all takes!
I love the idea of making fake sky patches over the recesses in your ceiling and I admit to pure envy over the size of your ladder! I have to say...this is not typical for me but I'd almost like to see the walls and ceiling white (yes, white! ;-) to make the murals pop and to make your craft projects the focal point. Maybe rich blues and golden yellows for furniture and accessories to stick with the "sunny skies" concept. But it is your room after all, lol, so I can't wait to see!Laura @ the shorehouse.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15442672928319257413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7901318.post-11325471790201445982008-09-13T22:52:00.000-05:002008-09-13T22:52:00.000-05:00I'm partial to sea greens and blues; I think those...I'm partial to sea greens and blues; I think those would look terrific in this space.Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17374925727669703513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7901318.post-56802094548899476642008-09-13T20:43:00.000-05:002008-09-13T20:43:00.000-05:00Hi Kim~ So glad to hear your studio is coming alon...Hi Kim~
So glad to hear your studio is coming along! You will be so happy when it's finished, and I can't wait to see the murals you are doing! :)

As far as paint goes, I would probably go with a light green, or maybe something energetic like butter yellow! But you have to choose something you love! :)

Have a wonderful rest of your weekend! :)Jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13894298965540935785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7901318.post-89382896181113250512008-09-13T20:06:00.000-05:002008-09-13T20:06:00.000-05:00Nice to meet you. What an arduous process. I shouldn't complain at all, as I didn't personally have to do it. (Have respiratory problems, so couldn't if I wanted to!) We chose the brown families for the bathrooms; yellow for the master bedroom and kitchen. A light neutral of some variety for the hall, which is dark anyway. And we have five rooms to go!
BrendaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7901318.post-66102971017505128932008-09-13T14:11:00.000-05:002008-09-13T14:11:00.000-05:00I'd probably go with light blue or yellow. The murals sounds like a good solution to the problem you encountered.
Last night we went to Lowes and chose the colors for our bathroom, since that will be the first room we are finishing in the new house. {I had to get some paint for the clawfoot tub} This morning I come here to see you have chosen simliar secondary/accent colors as we have for our bathroom! It will be interesting to see what your primary color will be. =) Drop by my blog when you get a chance for a post on it! =)
Enjoyed the update and look forward to seeing more.
TTFN ~ JessicaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7901318.post-85573397090044468062008-09-12T22:05:00.000-05:002008-09-12T22:05:00.000-05:00I NEVER tire of photos of makeovers, sweet little ...I NEVER tire of photos of makeovers, sweet little chick!
