I can totally see that chair painted and covered with a vintage chenille. Love it! Good luck with the tables.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7901318.post-1143721441814170702006-03-30T06:24:00.000-06:002006-03-30T06:24:00.000-06:00I love everything you found! I do ...Thanks, you all!

That would be pretty, Poppy! I do need to somehow tie my kitchen and livingroom together and that would be great!

Shawni, that's the hard part, lol...getting up early enough! I don't consider myself a pro yardsaler, but I do know it's tough to get there when they do!

Hey Retta! Good to see you! Do you all have yard sales or garage sales where you are in Australia? If not, I'm wondering what everyone does with their old stuff? Maybe just donate to charities?

Hi Margo! You know, I did think about doing a mosaic top on the smaller taller one...it would make a great little plant stand and the tile would be better suited for that. The other one I'm already using as is for a coffee table, lol. It will definitely need it's makeover, but it's just too cute to stick in the garage until I get to it:) I'll be sure to let you what I do with them...I sure can't wait until I have more time to work on projects like these:)Kim @ Twice Rememberedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05563623309334980893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7901318.post-1143493194118866942006-03-27T14:59:00.000-06:002006-03-27T14:59:00.000-06:00Why don't you tile the table tops after you've pai...Why don't you tile the table tops after you've painted them. I think a nice light tile would look great on them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7901318.post-1143462036209148732006-03-27T06:20:00.000-06:002006-03-27T06:20:00.000-06:00WOW! I love everything you bought!...I'm green with envy! I love everything you bought! The carving on the chair is really different. I can close my eyes and see it painted crisp white, covered with a cranberry striped ticking sitting in the corner of your kitchen.

I'm looking forward to hitting up some garage sales myself. Think it will have to get a tad warmer here though~Poppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05923400820390663172noreply@blogger.com
